Peter laughs at the blunt honesty about her misdemeanors.

"Me too. It's always for a good cause, though. A shocking number of problems can be solved by criminal trespass."

He's not entirely surprised that people here have...colorful lives back home, not after meeting the other spiders.

You only need to meet one cartoon spider-pig to grasp the concept of weird lives in other worlds.

"You don't have Christmas where you're from? It's a winter holiday. Religious for some people, a secular excuse to be nice and give presents for other people."

The latter category was what was celebrated in his house growing up and mostly just because May said she would've missed having a tree and the various sparkly Christmas accouterments. She had converted when she married his Uncle Ben, but it was all about the whimsy.

They'd still spread out his presents over eight days, though.
