Cammie and Brainy find the shield machine in the upstairs room of the abandoned factory and it's still flickering, barely controlling the reality of the room. But it's at least keeping it mostly in color.

While it keeps some of the room in color, the effect doesn't seem to extend to the two of them.

There are tools to use in the room they can use to work on it.
