The thing about her war, Wrath has always known, is that the enemy is clear. The things that happened out there were horrible, and traumatic, and scarring, but there's a different quality to that kind of pain than betrayal and paranoia and not knowing how to trust, or having that trust betrayed.
She'd rather take her war over any of this. Over the CoHo, smiling while she says she's making you better, when what she's really doing is carving out the parts of someone's personality that she doesn't like.
"That's sick," Wrath says. She certainly feels sick, her hands over her mouth for a moment until she thinks she'll be all right. And this is kids doing that shit to each other? "And it's not that different. It's always about someone using their power to control other people."
