Not enough on her plait
Who: Leia and Stacia and whomever
What: Brushies
Where: late night
When: sometime after "Don't touch that dial"
Warnings/Notes: hair?
Her world had been destabilized. Again. She had no duty, no rebellion no actual fight to throw herself into, and desperately needed something to give her a sense of normalcy again. The most normal thing she could do was brushing and braiding her hair. A traditional daily ritual from her home that had been an almost absent part of her days when she was actively fighting.
The doorless opening of her room offered a wide view of her brushing out the waist-length chestnut waves of her hair as she detangled it carefully and managed to work it into small sections. She twisted and turned it different ways trying different styles of braids to see what she wanted to work with.
And would do the same for anyone else who stopped by her room.

"Thank you..?" She had added the lilt of question only vaguely at the end of the words as she wasn't sure if it was intended as a compliment or merely a comment.
"That was an impressive wolf form." She returned in kind, and swiveled to better look at her visitor, letting the long lengths hang freely around her, somehow that made her look ever smaller than her already tiny stature.

"I like to think so, yeah," she says. "Mind if I ask for hair care tips? I'm one grumpy mood away from lopping mine off entirely; and that's not even getting into how it's shedding season."

"Where I come from its sort of a traditional thing, girls braid their hair, often they use it as a social time or a meditative time. A time to center and reflect. But in a simpler form, it can help manage hair well too."
She'd need to get a look at the other girl's hair to understand its needs though.

"I am deeply in favor of social grooming as a bonding activity," she says. "I've never found hair styling particularly reflective, but I tend to cycle through about three primary styles base on practicality. Makeup is mostly where I get meditative."
