Jaime nods.

"Normally, back home, the armor is so much more powerful - like WMD powerful. And he can do all this scanning stuff to figure out weaknesses and detect types of energy, suggest tactics and strategies..."

He shakes his head. "Stuff that's more complex than just a suit of power armor. It's better Jorgmund doesn't know. Or they might decide the stupid cuff thing-" He holds up his wrist, but it's gone right now, taken off for the mission. "- isn't enough. If they get too curious they might try to rip him out to study him. And it's probably better for all of us if I've got something up my sleeve they don't know about. Might be useful at some point."

He shrugs one shoulder.

"I know the other New Hires probably won't give it away but I don't trust like that. And right now, we're also being watched by someone outside the group, too, so yaaay."

He gestures at Kreb. Kreb waves a claw back cheerfully.

"But also now...this. What do I even do with this?"

Kreb responds by idly pulling up grass and sprinkling it on Jaime's head. Over and over.
