After that, it gets ugly, ugly like his whole upper body contracting by uneven stages into the right size and shape to be the tiger's head, the insides of his arms going bright red and wet and sprouting sharp teeth before they fuse into a lower jaw.
None of it is good to watch. Absolutely none. It even sounds bad, faint pops and squishing and the cracking and grating of bones breaking and reforming. It also takes a good two or three minutes, longer if he's distracted.
