Monster Mash, Babadon't Bash
Adora’s been dozing in bed when she hears footsteps and wakes up. It’s just her in her room right now. She looks concerned when North comes to her doorway. “You can come in if you want to speak in private. Are you checking in on everyone?”
“Nope, checking in on you, specifically.” North's aware of Adora having been their victim thanks to a private call from Kerrigan, so he's ready for a quickly-escalating confrontation now. He's purposely blocking and filling up the doorway, something that's not too difficult for a man his size. “You have the chance to turn yourself in now, if you want to avoid a fight.”
“I don't understand...I can't be the imposter, I'd know!” She looks genuinely confused. She gets up from her bed and walks to North with her hands out, clearly unarmed. “You can pinch me or something and see, I'm just me, Adora.”
North bristles a bit when she approaches. “Keep back. I know what you are.”
“Oh.” Adora’s face falls, and then-
-and then she pulls aside part of her uniform to reach into her clavicle, pushing her fist through her upper sternum as if it were mayonnaise, and when she pulls her hand back out it’s coated in black goo and filled with wriggling black forms. She pushes her hand into her chest again, and pulls out a sword. And she grows in size to eight feet tall.
She lets the black forms drip out of her hands and they, too, grow in size. They grow lizard-like legs and they climb the walls and dart around North in the doorway. One skitters across the ceiling and slithers into some type of switchboard next to the living quarters exit, and suddenly half the dorm rooms have their forcefields up again, narrowing the amount of foes the Babadon’t will have to face at once. The others keep growing in size, first as big as dogs, then as big as ponies – her first generation of children, hellbent on attacking the Hires left in open bedrooms or in the hallway.
[OOC: Tag into your starter and I will NPC the monsters for you between each round!]

Instead of cutting wildly he pauses a moment to try to figure out a precise strike that could take this one down all at once. That could have left him open, but he's listening to old drilled-in-instinct and his stalk eyes have been roving. Too many of these things around to simply monitor all of them, so it's a sweep for anything approaching, including from the ceiling.
Abandoning the first creature - these humans will just have to manage on their own for a moment - he pivots on his back legs, fur brushing a wall, to swing his tail out of reach, coiling it for another bullwhip slash as best he can in the limited space, counting on its own overextention to leave babydon't number two vulnerable. His hooves skid just fractionally on a fleck of ooze over tile, which will be a problem soon. There are many, many ways in which the Rig is not built for Andalites at the best of times.

She's glad that the younger woman has something to block with, it means Carolina can focus on what she's doing here. Another attack thunks off the extinguisher. Step by step, she's closing in on Babydon't Prime.
Carolina is genuinely grateful it doesn't seem to split cleanly into more than one. Now, she wants to see how this thing deals with blunt force and is going to find out the old fashioned way.

"You're doing really well with that thing." Leia said to Carolina, intending to offer some bit of assurance that yes they were going to get out of this and complimenting the other woman's courage and skill even with such improvised weapons.
The interesting side effect of it would be that Carolina would feel...different. Something that was hard to place but like feeling refreshed, energized. In fact it was the first demonstration of the new powers Leia had acquired when she arrived. Her voice inspired hope and in that Carolina would feel faster, stronger, better for at least the next two minutes or so. The ability raised Calorina's own powers by roughly twenty percent, meaning that if she was strong before she was stronger now.
(Leia just gave Carolina a buff, Leia's able to increase the ability by up to 20% or the equivalent based on the power in question. If someone can plasma blast something 10 times then they will get 12. If their area of effect for power is 35 feet it could be extended to 42 feet. Or if they can lift up to 300 lbs they could then lift 360lbs. If their top speed is 60MPH then she could buff them to go 72MPH. etc.)

It's much faster at turning its arms into lamprey mouths; it launches one each at Carolina and Leia, fast like a viper striking and elastic enough to read at least three yards.
Babydon't Beta manages to avoid getting bullwhipped by Alloran in a similar fashion: it turns to liquid mid-air and splatters all over him. It's pungent and gross and potentially blinding, and sticky as tar. The biggest pool that hit the ground past Alloran starts to congeal into a shape again.

He snorts a vile bubble out of his airway and gives up on power strikes for the moment, curving his tail like a huge taloned finger and just raking his blade repeatedly across the floor and the pools of Beta. It's somewhat erratic because he's still using one stalk eye for situational observation so he has no depth perception, and he scores the walls and floor, striking sparks off metal.
<You bipeds and your tunnels! If you understood proper floor texture these things wouldn't happen,> he grouses.

She is doing really well with that thing.
This is a horribly gross process but at least it seems like if they keep slamming it and trying not to bust the tank open in the process, maybe it will stop being able to regenerate? It's the closest thing she has to a plan. The only other option is seeing if the fire extinguisher's chemicals affect the goop monster, but Carolina's not eager to bet on it when it can lash out with spiky bits so fast.
"I think we almost got this one! Just a little more!"

Time enough to deal with escaping this place after they deal with the more immediate threat, which at the moment was sending a disgusting multitoothed mouth at her. She shrieked and batted at the thing hard with her chair, it made a resounding thud against the metal.
She brought the chair back and down on the appendage another three times with all the force she could muster.

Babydon't Prime is going through the same struggle, trying to coalesce more quickly than Leia and Carolina can hit is, but the more pieces of it that splatter off, the smaller the pool it has to draw from.
