Ah yes, Jennifer is in pure delight. Back in her day, this wasn't a thing and now not only she, who will romanticize everything, gets to celebrate love, she gets to witness people be happy as they celebrate with her. She waves happily at whoever enters and nods towards all the available material.

There is indeed lots of booze, which one wouldn't expect from Jennifer but hey, Price helped. There's rainbow cake, and biscuits with the flags on it. Before everyone arrives she innocently asks one of the staff members in the kitchen if she can eat a lesbian one. There's a box with pins and facepaints. Some people are sporting funny or sexy costumes. She is wears her usual hairdo, but decorates it with a rose, paired with a simple white dress. She drinks her tea and is happy, and just a little bit too clueless of what can happen during these kinds of celebrations...

Loken smiles, sincerely pleased someone had ascertained his confusion and distress, and nods.

"You are correct. I would appreciate any light you can shed on this mysterious festival, friend."

He looks at Greg's flag meaningfully.

"Alright," Greg says, gathering his thoughts on the subject, "so I ain't sure how it works where you're from, but on my world and I'm guessin' more'n a few others those of us who ain't exactly heterosexual or gender-conforming tend not to be treated so well. At least where I'm from it's slowly been gettin' better, but we still got a long way to go. Pride celebrations like this one are about celebrating what makes us different and also as protest against the way we've been treated."

Greg pauses.

"Also it's a way to rub it in the faces of people who'd hate us just for being what we are, because fuck them and the horse they rode in on."

"Ah. That's... not much of an issue in the Imperium, at least from where I perceived it. But matters of sexuality are rather distant for me. Astartes do not engage in such, ah, activity." He smiles, as if to disarm any edges on the conversation, "It is good to celebrate the variety of humanity, I think."
