Remy pulled away from the embrace, but only so he could take her hands. Careful of the places where the gloves had come apart. It wasn't the first time that he'd had to do this, after all.

"Hmm," he said, looking over the fabric. "T'ought me an' Saturday had put dat ball pit down for de count for longer dan dat." Which meant that he had more supplies than they expected. That wasn't good news. "By de time I was done wit' dat t'ing, it was mos'ly all glued together, anyway."

He did pause when she mentioned her control, eyes flicking up from looking at her gloves so she could see the flash of red through his bangs. "Un'erstan'able. We'll jus' have to go an' talk dem into givin' you a new set quick, dat's all."

For him, it's been a bit since she's had control. "Interestin' dat you're havin' pro'lems wit' your powers. I ain't had any issues, myself, but I ain't a one-woman army, neither."
