Acacia does look beautiful, wearing her coral satin gown with its long, beaded belt accessory as proud and confident in the finery as an amazon queen. Amazon queen specifically, because her discomfort, and Bunny's discomfort, at the vulnerability of being separated manifests in her glaring like she's expecting a fight from every angle.

Bunny is having to work hard to conceal his own emotions, given that he's supposed to be pretending to be cheerful Stacia's daemon. While Acacia doesn't seem to have much of a handle on keeping her emotions anywhere but her sleeve, Bunny at least can manage it enough that he isn't making it look like Stacia, too, is ready to throw hands at the least provocation.

Being cuddled honestly helps. Acacia is more than willing to agree, picking Virginia up and wrapping her around her neck like a stole, a brazen gesture that gets a few scandalized looks by humans who can't seem to figure out why the woman petting her lover's daemon in public unsettles them to look at, aside from the impropriety of that public gesture. They put it down to the presence of her massive wolf daemon, and in fact, the ruse does serve to deflect some of the attention Acacia would otherwise be attracting as a human shaped daemon.

Bunny isn't quite sure where the best balance of attention is at the moment, though, as he does his best to stay looking cute and harmless and not upset by it. He's used to being out of the spotlight, but Acacia is an attention-grabber, and he's uncomfortable with something as intimate as his soul being that much in the public eye while he has to sit still and look cute.

"Better you than us," he says to Dan, meaning himself and Acacia AND Stacia and Benny at this point.
